How to solicit Team Sponsorship:
If you would like to offset your own season dues and help raise funds for the WCC, consider soliciting team sponsorship!
-Team Sponsor Letter - Use this letter to share with businesses, to explain the benefits of team sponsorship.
-Sponsor Form - Provide one half of this form to the sponsor/business, and turn in the other half with your registration.
-Current Team Sponsor List - Please do not contact these businesses, as they are already sponsoring current rowers.
If you would like to offset your own season dues and help raise funds for the WCC, consider soliciting team sponsorship!
- Go to your favorite local businesses, including those of your family and friends, and inquire about a tax-deductible donation to the WCC. Team sponsors will be listed on our website, and on our team sponsorship t-shirt, which athletes proudly wear at regattas, parades, and community events.
- 100% of donations that each athlete receives will be deducted directly from their season's dues. Any amount beyond your dues will go directly to team expenses.
- You may begin soliciting team sponsorship in December before the season begins, and all funds and forms must be turned in by the February 5th registration deadline. Use the sponsor letter and form below, and please check the current team sponsor list first so that we don't duplicate our efforts. All sponsor checks should be written to the Wappingers Crew Club.
